Fire crews were called out after smoke was spotted coming from underneath a parked car.
The call-out to Shaw’s Brow car park in Douglas came at 8.30am today (Wednesday).
Firefighters located a small, smouldering fire within the engine compartment. This was quickly extinguished using a hose reel.
Two fire engines from Douglas fire station attended the incident.
