The Police have confirmed that a section of the A18 Mountain Road that was shut earlier due to a diesel spill has since re-opened.

The force were at the scene for around an hour dealing with the spill.
The road, which closed around 9am this morning, was shut between Ramsey and the Bungalow.
The Constabulary were urging motorists to use an alternative route this morning.
The road re-opened just before 10am.
