Annexio Limited is sponsoring the LottoGo Award for Excellence in the Use of Technology at Isle of Man Newspapers’ Awards for Excellence.

Annexio chose the Isle of Man as its start-up location for a number of reasons, including its reputation and establishment as a leading international finance centre with a thriving eGaming and tech-based community.

Speaking at this year’s ISLEXPO event, Annexio founder and group chief executive officer, Tom Brodie, praised the Isle of Man for the outstanding support that Annexio had received in its early days, from financial assistance to access to professional advisors, regulators and sector experts, which enabled Annexio to become the fastest growing online gaming company on the Isle of Man.

This has been a hallmark year for Annexio, which is one of the leading lottery betting providers. June saw the launch of its new flagship consumer brand, LottoGo, which replaced the successful World Lottery Club brand to further reflect the personality and ethos of the company.

The brand has chosen comedian Keith Lemon to be the face and endorsement of the brand as it launches a TV campaign in the UK.

June also saw the relocation of Annexio from its former Lord Street address to the Fort Anne development.

The new headquarters boast stunning views of Douglas Bay with unparalleled staff benefits, including an on-site swimming pool, gymnasium and parking facilities.

Annexio has come from humble beginnings. From a small island start-up, it now operates in the UK, Australia, Jersey, Ireland and, of course, the Isle of Man, and it is delighted to be supporting an event that celebrates the best of the island.

Tom Brodie said: ’Annexio is proud to be sponsoring the Isle of Man Newspapers Awards for Excellence, and in particular, the Excellence in the Use of Technology Award. Annexio has been built and grown on the values of recognising those who go above and beyond in their workplace and in their communities.

’The Awards for Excellence are a fantastic way for the Isle of Man to identify and celebrate those who excel in their particular field, and I am absolutely thrilled that Annexio can give something back to the island who assisted so generously in the realisation of Annexio.’

The event, which will be held on November 15 at the Villa Marina, recognises the best businesses, charities and individuals that the island has to offer.
