A contestant from the Isle of Man tonight appeared on Mastermind.
Boakesey (her legal name) came third in the BBC2 quiz.
She was the fourth contender to sit on the famous black chair during the specialist questions round. Boakesey's subject was the Richard Sharpe Novels of Bernard Cornwell.
The Ramsey resident achieved eight points. She had no passes.
Boakesey scored seven in the general knowledge section, attaining 15 in total. She had three passes.
The winner had an overall total of 24.
