Isle of Man Advocate John Aycock has been inducted into the Legal 500 Hall of Fame for his work in employment law.

The Legal 500 Directory is an independent appraisal of lawyers based on client and colleague recommendations.

It has recently established the Hall of Fame to highlight lawyers ‘who are at the pinnacle of the profession’.

John is joint managing director of M&P Legal and has practised in the Isle of Man for the past 22 years.

He has worked in two other jurisdictions and in total has some 28 years’ experience in labour law.

His Hall of Fame status is achieved after being recognised by the Legal 500 as an elite leading lawyer for eight of the last 10 years.

John is well known in the Isle of Man for employment law work as well as for professional negligence and medical law matters.

He was counsel in one of the largest Isle of Man employment tribunal cases and has a regular following in the island’s finance and public sectors.

He gives seminars and regularly writes on employment law, including articles for Business News.
