Isle of Man registered online gaming business Mustardbet has announced it has ceased taking bets.
The operator’s site was disabled today and replaced with a notice of closure.
The notice said:’With deep regret we must announce that Mustardbet has ceased taking bets.’
The operator, registered at Cumbrae House, Market Street, Douglas, said all customer balances are in the process of being returned and all unsettled bets will be settled.
Mustard Sports Limited is licensed with the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission to operate mustardbet.comPeople could wager bets on various sports as well on casino games with Mustardbet.The business said in its notice the website will remain available for 28 days.'This will allow customers to access their account balances, transaction history and withdraw funds. The Livechat feature through the website will also remain open for that period.'After the 11th November customers will no longer have access to these facilities.'At the recent e-gaming summit the island's Chief Minister Howard Quayle announced that e-gaming now has a 21% sector share in the island's economy.He added that when combined with the island's other digital industries that figure increases to over 30%.He said e-gaming has remained 'one of our shining stars'.
