Advocate Sally Bolton is celebrating 30 years of practising Manx law.

Ms Bolton, who was in the first generation of female advocates to be called to the Manx bar, said: ’The last 30 years have gone by so quickly and I’m proud of the developments within the Manx law and the legal system in that time.

’When I started out the profession was male dominated so it’s great to see so many talented female advocates rising through the ranks, particularly through Corlett Bolton over the years.

’I’m supported by a brilliant team, and together we’ve created both a positive place to work and a dedicated first-class, personal service for our loyal clients.

’The growth we’ve enjoyed at Corlett Bolton, particularly over the last few years, from the opening of our office in Port St Mary and now the transfer of business from Gelling Johnson Farrant, has further strengthened the practice and enables the Peel office to open four days a week, which is really exciting. We’ve got more big plans for the next five years, so watch this space.’

Ms Bolton is also a trustee of the Manx Wildlife Trust.
