Island-based Continent 8 Technologies brought together some of the best known leaders in e-gaming for a panel discussion at the huge ICE London expo.
The ’Leaders and Legends’ event - chaired by Micky Swindale, chief executive officer, KPMG Islands Group - featured Jordan Levin, group chief executive, SG Digital; John Coleman, chief executive officer, Microgaming; Shay Segev, chief operating officer, GVC Group; Richard Carter, chief executive officer, SBTech and Shimon Akad, chief operating officer, Playtech.
Continent 8, which has its headquarters in Douglas and provides facilities and networks to support e-gaming operations in Europe, Asia and the Americas, invited clients to submit questions beforehand and to go along to listen to the panellists discuss the hottest topics.
Issues included the impact of Brexit; growth in Latin America, USA and Africa; marketing strategies and industry trends; and regulatory issues.
The panellists also gave their expert view on what will be ’the next big thing’ in online gaming.

ICE London was also an opportunity for Continent 8 to talk to existing and potential clients about its many recent successes, and plans for 2020. Continent 8’s team at the expo, included Mr Tobin and his fellow co-founder Jay Stubina; and three managing directors for key markets (David Black, Europe, Middle East and Africa; Peter Williams, Asia Pacific; and Nick Nally, Americas).
ICE London is one of the biggest annual expos for the e-gaming industry and this year’s event brought together more than 35,000 professionals across all sectors of gaming, and businesses that showcased more than 600 products.
