KPMG Isle of Man is hosting a morning briefing on Thursday this week at the Broadway Cinema to update businesses on the current trends, risks and solutions for organisations facing the dangers of digital and cyber risks.

A mixture of speakers from KPMG Isle of Man and the UK will be discussing topics that will include cyber security and privacy, cyber defence services along with a cyber-crime and threat update.

The sessions, to be followed by lunch, will be a chance for attendees to discuss their concerns with industry leaders and find solutions to current and future issues.

Bryan Beesley, head of digital at KPMG Isle of Man, said: ‘Cyber is such a topical issue at the moment.

‘With more and more firms being affected either directly or indirectly, we thought this would provide a perfect platform to hear from some of the best speakers in their field address the risks but also enable firms to put in the correct policies, procedures and steps to protect not only the business, but those who are running it.’

Russell Kelly, managing director at KPMG Isle of Man, said: ‘Digital and cyber Security should no longer be seen as a topic that falls under ‘‘IT’’ but rather a regular topic that is discussed at board level.’

Registrations are still being taken for the event by contacting [email protected] or call 681000.
