Mr Reynolds said: ‘2017 has been a very busy year for Microgaming with a wealth of new games released, including blockbuster branded titles from the action-packed Jurassic World and Highlander online slots, to the thrilling and the theatrical, The Phantom of the Opera and Halloween online slots.

‘Not forgetting the launch of EmotiCoins earlier, a slot [game]born from an idea pitched by staff at Microgaming’s very own innovation initiative.

‘We are very excited to showcase new content as we go into 2018, so watch this space as Microgaming will be revealing another wave of exciting releases and announcements to shake up the New Year.’

Mr Reynolds pointed out that in December two more games were added to the Microgaming line-up.

These were Holly Jolly Penguins and Wacky Panda.

An amazing year for the business included the official move into new multi-million pound offices. The headquarters is linked by a Sky bridge to the old office which is also still functioning.

lMeanwhile the Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) is going from strength strength.

The MPN is an online poker network consisting of nearly 30 different poker rooms, most of which share the same tables and tournaments. Microgaming’s customers are poker rooms, who deal with the players.

Tower Tourneos has moved its poker operation to the MPN. Impressed with Microgaming, having already integrated with the Quickfire platform to gain access to some of the industry’s best gaming content, Tower Torneos has extended the relationship with poker.

Horacio Santoianni, operations director at Tower Torneos, said: ‘Working with the Microgaming team is a real pleasure, and the success of the Quickfire integration showed us they were the perfect company to work with for a new and improved poker product. They have vast experience in the poker world.’

Jean-Luc Ferrire, director of network games at Microgaming, said: ‘It’s great to welcome Tower Torneos to the MPN and be their poker provider of choice.

‘The addition of Tower Torneos will increase our overall liquidity on the network, but also our presence in markets outside of Europe. Their team bring a wealth of industry and poker experience to the MPN and we’re excited to be working with them long into the future.’
