A Manx branch of a children’s charity has unveiled its window display in preparation for the wedding of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The Save the Children shop, appropriately on Windsor Road, Douglas, will have the display in place until after the wedding this weekend.
The displayincludes a picture of the couple, some wedding dresses, shoes, glassware and decorative ornaments.
Barbara Thorn, who volunteers with the charity, said: ’With Princess Anne being the patron of the Save the Children charity, we prepared a wedding window as a tribute to her nephew, Prince Harry on the occasion of his marriage to Meghan Markle.
’The shop has an assortment of beautiful wedding gowns which they hope the public will come and browse.’
’We are very grateful to the people who have donated these beautiful gowns and also to Marks & Spencer and The Butler’s Choice for their kind assistance.’
While none of the items in the window will be available before the wedding, Save the Children will be selling items that can be collected after the wedding.
