Michael Rutter registered his seventh win around the Mountain Course on Tuesday, when he claimed victory in the Sure Junior Classic TT.

Lee Johnston led much of the delayed and shortened three-lap race, but relinquished the lead to Rutter at the start of the third lap when the former pitted the Black Eagle Racing MV Agusta for fuel at the end of the penultimate lap.

Rutter ultimately brought home the Ripley Land Racing 350 Honda 10.252 seconds ahead of Johnston on corrected time with Jamie Coward third on his Ted Woof/Craven Honda a further 33.928s behind Johnston.

Dominic Herbertson, Alan Oversby and Dean Harrison completed the top six.

Local Dave Madsen-Mygdal finished 20th, while Ramsey’s Conor Cummins retired in his home town on the last lap.
