A birthday bash barney has landed a 23-year-old Peel woman with a £265 fine.

Tamisha May Thomas appeared in court on March 25, admitting being drunk and disorderly.

Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood also ordered her to pay £125 prosecution costs.

Prosecuting advocate Peter Connick told the court that police were on patrol, on March 9, when they saw Thomas outside 1886, throwing a drink at a woman, and when officers approached, they had to separate the pair.

Defence advocate James Peterson said that his client had been out for her birthday and accepted she had been drunk.

Thomas, who lives at Fenella Terrace, will pay the fine and costs at a rate of £10 per week, deducted from benefits.
