A 25-year-old man has been given a 12-month conditional discharge for possessing cannabis.
Tyler Jack Snape admitted the offence and was also ordered to pay £50 prosecution costs.
Prosecuting advocate Barry Swain told the court that police executed a search warrant at Snaefell Road in Willaston, where Snape was living at the time, on January 13, at 7am.
The search found small amounts of cannabis throughout the property, which totalled 6.3 grams, valued by police at £126.
In April 2022, Snape was put on probation for nine months for obstructing a drug search and possessing cannabis.
A probation report said that Snape had now successfully completed the probation order but said he had used cannabis for a number of years, for anxiety.
He said that he had significantly reduced his use and now used it only occasionally.
Defence advocate Winston Taylor reiterated that his client used the drug for extreme anxiety and said that he smoked it only in his home, and that the amount found had been small.
High Bailiff Jayne Hughes ordered Snape, who now lives at Anagh Coar Road, Douglas, to pay the costs at a rate of £5 per week, deducted from benefits.
