Thomas James Slinger, aged 18, of Foxglove Close, Douglas, has been charged with disorderly behaviour on licensed premises.
The offence is alleged to have been committed at Jaks bar on July 16.
Mr Slinger was represented in court by duty advocate Paul Glover, who said that CCTV footage from Jaks was still awaited.
Prosecuting advocate Barry Swain said that the digital evidence unit was swamped.
Bail was granted in the sum of £500.
