A top underground indie band will now perform in Douglas next year, as part of a series of charity concerts.
The Indian Queens have rescheduled their date at the Deep South Music Festival and will now be appearing at Tower House, in Douglas, on Friday, March 26.
The London-based indie rockers were supposed to have been the first headline act of the reformatted Deep South Festival and should have appeared in Douglas during March this year.
However, the gigs were one of the first casualties to the social restrictions caused by the coranavirus.
The Deep South festival changed from being a weekend-long event to holding a series of concerts in Douglas over a period of months.
The festival is now due to kick off on Friday, September 25 with Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel, followed by a concert on Friday, December 4 with the former 90s’ chart-toppers Toploader.
Each concert will raise money for island-based mental health charities including REACH IOM, Bridge the Gap, Quing, Isle Listen and more.
Tickets are priced between £17.50 and £32.50, available from ticketor.com/ towerhouse
