Children at Manor Park primary school travel to the breakfast club every Wednesday by scooter.
Headteacher Tuyet Ramzy said: ’On Wheelie Wednesdays we have been encouraging pupils to come to school on their scooters to keep fit and save the planet.
’Children are excited to come and look forward to the free breakfast before the start of school.
’The children have fruit, yogurt, brioche and toast.
’They also get to play games with each other starting the day with a smile. Parents also come along for a coffee and a chat and it’s lovely to see everyone having such a great time together.’
She said the school also had a few scooter lessons ensuring children know how to stay safe while scooting along.
