Manx Utilities has said it’s carrying out emergency repairs to a collapsed hydrant at St Ninian’s crossroads.

Traffic management has been in place from 9am and it’s warned that it could be be in place for 24 hours, however will update the public if this time frame changes.

Due to the number of vehicles that use the crossroads, delays are likely throughout today (Thursday).

The Department of Infrastructure has asked motorists to allow a little extra time to negotiate the Douglas junction.
