More than 2,000 people headed to Laxey over the weekend for two days of Christmas shopping and festivities.
A wide range of stall holders were located at The Institute, MER station, Christchurch and Laxey Glen.
Festive characters including a gingerbread man and Christmas tree welcomed visitors to the village.
Father Christmas had a grotto in The Institute and with the help of a team of elves, he met more than 300 children.
The Great Laxey Mine Railway was running Christmas trains, with snow at the ticket office adding to the atmosphere
A spokesman for the Institute said: ‘There was a fabulous atmosphere and the village was buzzing with Christmas.
‘The Douglas Scouts did a brilliant job of managing the traffic and car parking. The Institute committee would like to express their thanks for all their help and also all the volunteers who have their own time to help make this the biggest festive event on the island’s Christmas calendar.’
The Christmas market, now in its 11th year, is the biggest fundraiser of the year at the Laxey Working Men’s Institute.
Proceeds will go towards a new sound system for the building, which provides a venue for everything from fitness classes to performance events.
