Health and Social Care Minister David Ashford has confirmed that three more island residents have died from Covid-19.

All three of the deaths occurred at Abbotswood nursing home and brings the island’s total number of deaths to nine.

Mr Ashford sent the his condolences to the families of those who have died.

The Health Minister also confirmed that 2,509 tests have been taken in the island of which 2,417 have returned with 92 outstanding.

So far 300 people have tested positive in the island, with 200 presumed recovered, meaning the island has 91 confirmed active cases.
