There will be a chance to get up close and personal with some of our more unwelcome garden visitors next month.

The Manx Wildlife Trust will be running a ’Hug a Slug’ workshop at Kirk Braddan church hall on Saturday, April 6, from 2pm.

Aimed at children aged five to 11 years old, the workshop will encourage kids to find out more about these much-maligned creatures, and learn about the good work they do in the garden that goes unnoticed.

The children will be taken on a slug hunt, and also have a go at making slime.
