The fire service has dealt with an incident in a shop in Douglas.

This morning, crews were called out after reports of a faulty air conditioning unit in the shop in Castle Street.

The power to the unit was isolated by the manager of the store.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus checked the area for any fire spread with a thermal imaging camera and then cleared the building of smoke using a positive pressure fan.
