Danielle Christian is 21 and lives in Castletown.
She works as a secretary in the conveyancing department of Callin Wild Advocates.
Danielle recently organised a charity fund raising concert at the Kensington Youth Arts Centre, where she hosted an evening of dance and songs from the musicals, featuring a range of local stars of the stage, raising £1215 for the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Her mother, Heather, suffers from lung cancer, and is a patient advocate for the charity, and is helping to get the foundation established on the Isle of Man
What is your idea of a perfect meal?
I love lemon chicken with egg-fried-rice and prawn crackers, followed by sticky toffee pudding.
What is your favourite way to relax?
Watching a nice movie and my favourite Chinese meal.
What is your greatest extravagance?
Going on holidays.
Do you have any pets?
My mum and dad have four cats.
What is your greatest achievement?
I received the Grand Prior award with St John Ambulance, the highest award cadets can receive.
What is your favourite time of the year?
I like the winter, because that’s when both my birthday and Christmas happen.
What is the first job you ever had?
I worked as a sales assistant in Claire’s Accessories.
Do you have any irrational fears?
I hate spiders or anything that crawls.
What is your worst habit?
Scrolling through Facebook.
What is your favourite book?
The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak.
What is your favourite TV programme?
Riverdale, an American drama.
What is your favourite band/artist at the moment?
Always Niall Horan, who used to sing with One Direction. I will marry him one day.
What is your favourite part of the Isle of Man?
Port Erin Beach.
What is the last show/band that you saw live?
I recently saw Alfie Boe.
If time/money were no object, what would be your perfect day?
I would go a spa day with my mum, followed by dinner with my mum and dad and then a relaxing evening in front of the TV, watching our favourite musical, Les Miserables.
Choose three people, dead or alive, to invite to dinner?
My Mums’ father, as I never met him but would have dearly liked to. I think we could have a good laugh. My Nan (Dad’s mother), as I miss her so much and she gave great advice, and finally my Mum, because she is my inspiration and we can talk all night long. Also, I’m sure she would pay the bill.
