The biggest cruise liner to ever visit the island is in Douglas Bay today (Tuesday).
Holland America Line's Nieuw Statendam arrived at 7am with 2,623 visitors on board.
It surpasses the previous record set by the Nieuw Statendam’s sister ship the Rotterdam when it visited in May.
Passengers will have the chance to take trips on the island’s heritage railways, visit Cregneash, the House of Manannan in Peel and Castletown during the day before the ship departs around 6pm.
