Isle of Man TT organisers have confirmed that the rider involved in a crash during Tuesday evening’s solo warm-up lap is stable and conscious.

Ballaugh resident Anthony Redmond came off at the Bungalow on a 1,000cc BMW and was airlifted to Noble’s Hospital with reported leg injuries.

A statement from organisers added: ‘He is stable, conscious and continues to receive treatment.’
