Motorcycle team boss Clive Padgett has appeared at Douglas courthouse today (Thursday), admitting careless driving and failing to report an accident.

Magistrates fined the 65 year old £1,300 and endorsed his licence with seven points.

Padgett, whose address was given as Turnberry Avenue, Onchan, was driving a Mercedes Sprinter on May 28 at 10pm when he hit two vehicles on Victoria Road in Douglas.
