A wet and windy start today with a spell of rain this morning, clearing mid-morning leaving the rest of the day mostly dry with bright or sunny spells developing. Strong southwest winds will veer to a fresh to strong west-northwesterly as the rain clears. Top temperatures 10°C early on, then gradually falling a little during the day.

Mostly dry to start for Wednesday but rather cloudy, then a band of rain arriving later in the afternoon, clearing to showers later. Strong to gale force southwest winds and temperatures around 9°C.

A few wintry showers on Thursday with sunny spells and strong to gale force west winds and temperatures only 7°C.
