It is understood that a number residents in Port Erin have been evacuated from their homes this evening amidst an ongoing police incident.

A heavy armed police presence has also been seen in the Creggan Lea estate in Port St Mary.

Footage has also emerged of two men being told to lay on the ground in the estate with a number of police vehicles in the vicinity.
