This morning’s flight from Ronaldsway to London City has returned to the island.

The flight left the island at about 7am, but by 7.05am, had changed course back towards Ronaldsway.

After turning around over the sea off Castletown, the plane landed back at Ronaldsway just after 7.16am.

No information has yet been provided as to why flight BA3281 returned to the island.

The service between the Isle of Man and London City is operated for BA by Loganair.

The flight later departed the island again at 8.35am and is due in London about 9.25am.
