A Colby man has denied a charge of domestic abuse.

Alexander Kennedy, 50, pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared at the Court of General Gaol Delivery on Friday.

Mr Kennedy, of Main Road, is alleged to have committed out the offence between September 20, 2023 and August 7, 2024.

The trial has been set down for September 9, 2025 and is due to last four days.

Mr Kennedy’s conditional bail was continued but an application to remove the condition of a 10pm-6am curfew was granted by Deemster Graeme Cook.
