Rhys Daniel Hurst, aged 23, of Brookhill Road, Ramsey, has had his bail varied to allow him to live in Scotland.

He is charged with theft, alleged to have been committed between January 15 and May 18.

Mr Hurst was represented in court by advocate Darren Taubitz.

Mr Taubitz said that local police had confirmed that the Scotland address was suitable.

The application to vary the bail was not opposed by the prosecution.

The case had been adjourned until September 7.
