Manx Care is ‘continuing its discussions’ with the Royal College of Nursing following the result of a ballot which showed that from a 46% turnout, 80% of members were in favour of strike action.

Manx Care issued a one-line statement saying that it is ‘continuing its discussions with the RCN in order to establish what this result means for strike action on the Isle of Man’.

It follows on from failed pay negotiations.
