There’s a further delay to roads shutting around the Mountain Course this afternoon

Roads will now close at 2pm as the Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson allows a further hour for roads to dry out after some showers.

The Clerk of the Course Gary Thompson has confirmed that because of exceptional circumstances and a reduction in the time available within today's schedule, the Classic Senior Manx Grand Prix will now be brought forward and will include the Classic Junior Manx Grand Prix.

This will be run over one lap at 2.40pm.

The two-lap Senior Manx Grand Prix will follow at 3.45pm, with the two-lap Lightweight MGP at 5.10pm.

The meeting should conclude with the Classic Superbike Manx Grand Prix over two laps at 6.40pm.

This morning organisers announced five races would be going ahead today, with the result for Saturday’s red-flagged Junior race standing after one lap.
