Permission is being sought (21/01579/CON) for more time to demolish the dilapidated buildings of the former Cliffside and End Cafe in Laxey.
Approval for demolition was granted (following an appeal) to owner Deborah Forster in 2018, but this permission is set to expire, four years on, this March.
These original plans - which though initially refused by the planning inspector were approved by then environment minister Geoffrey Boot - involved replacing the buildings with four homes.
Plans for these construction works have also been resubmitted (PA 17/00006/B).
