Ramsey Courthouse is reopening on February 25 as a community space.

It was bought by the town's commissioners in 2018 for £80,000 from the Department of Home Affairs and was put out for tender.

There was an unsuccessful attempt to take over the building by ‘The Heart of Ramsey’ group in 2019 but this fell through during the pandemic.

The courthouse will now be run by the charity ‘Ramsey Community Hub’ and will be available for anyone local or in the north to use.
