Police have warned motorists about using footpaths after multiple reports.
The reports have been regarding the heritage trail between Douglas and Crosby.
A spokesperson for the road policing unit said:' This is a no-no. Vehicles are prohibited from using this due to the high volume of pedestrians and cyclists.
'This is a polite request, if you get stopped then you will receive a ticket.'
Police will be conducting both marked and unmarked patrols to monitor the issue.
