Candidates for Legislative Council will share their views at a public meeting.
There are two vacancies for Tynwald’s upper chamber after Kate Lord-Brennan and Jane Poole-Wilson were voted into the House of Keys in September and nominations for the seats have now closed.
LegCo is primarily a revising chamber for Bills introduced through the House of Keys. Eight members are elected by the House of Keys.
Vying for two vacant places on the Legislative Council are Bill Shimmins, Paul Craine, Corelli Bentham, Diane Kelsey, Craig Brown, Conor Keenan and MaryBeth Coll.
The meeting, organised by the Positive Action Group, will be chaired by Paul Moulton and held on Monday, November 15, at Promenade Church, Loch Promenade, Douglas IM1 2LY starting at 7.30pm.
