President of Tynwald Steve Rodan has confirmed the world’s oldest parliament should able to sit remotely from Friday.
As long as the technology is in place, the system will be tested on Thursday with members due to be able to take part from home.
Mr Rodan said that this would continue for all sittings during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He added that the move would ’ensure further, the safety of members, staff, families and communities we are all part of’.
