Staff and inmates at the prison have presented a cheque for £716 to Manx Cancer Help.
The money was raised through sponsorship for participating in the annual Lisa Lowe Walk.
A team from the prison tackled the 28-mile Millennium Way from Sky Hill in Ramsey to Castletown, setting off a day after the main charity event to tidy up along the route.
A second group from the prison completed the shorter 10-mile route from Crosby.
Six trusted prisoners joined staff members Mike Pacey, Andy Morrison, Geoff Hathaway, Hannah Pullen, Gary Thomas, Gina Buckross and June Melvin on the walk, with support provided by Tara Scott and Ant Rogan. The prison staff gave up their free time to take part.
Money was donated by colleagues and prisoners and the cheque for £716 was presented to Gareth Nicholson, fundraising events coordinator at Manx Cancer Help.
Staff at the prison are long-standing supporters of Isle of Man cancer charities and took part in the first Lisa Lowe Walk in 1997.
