An Italian flight attendant has visited the island as part of his ambitious plan to run on every country around the world.
Roberto De Lorenzo, 29, works for Norwegian Airlines and is based at Gatwick.
Having just 11 hours in the island, Mr De Lorenzo was joined for a run by cyclists Gary Johnson, Mark Christian and Olympic gold medallist Peter Kennaugh. They ran from the airport to Langness before heading to Ballasalla, heading north and then along the coastline from Port Soderick to Douglas.
Mr De Lorenzo (pictured second from left) said he even remembered to say hello to the fairies as he crossed the bridge.
He added: ’The route was definitely tiring but the landscape has been one of the most beautiful I have ever seen in my life! What a view, definitely worth all the fatigue.’
