Samantha Barks is set to give her first televised performance in Frozen The Musical ahead of next year’s West End premiere.

Samantha, who is originally from Lonan, will appear in the West End role of Elsa on ITV’s Royal Variety Show this evening (Tuesday) at 8pm, joined by the likes of Jason Manford, Michael Ball, Marisha Wallace and Sheridan Smith in front of a virtual audience at the Blackpool Winter Gardens.

The former St Ninian’s High School student is set to perform the popular number, Let it Go, from the Disney musical, offering a preview of the upcoming West End show.

Best known for playing Eponine in the 2012 musical film adaptation of Les Misrables, the 30-year-old will join the original cast of Frozen The Musical as Elsa when it debuts at Theatre Royal Drury Lane on April 2.
