A section of the Mountain Road has been closed this morning due to snow and ice forming overnight.

The section closed is the stretch of road between the Hairpin and the Bungalow, with the Isle of Man Constabulary saying that the road will be re-opened as soon as it is safe to do so.

The Constabulary has also confirmed there has been a road traffic collision at Dhoon Tram stop on the A2 Coast Road.

The road is currently blocked and emergency services are in attendance.
