The Post Office will only be delivering priority mail today due to Storm Eunice.
It has said this is being done to keep its staff safe while the storm is at its worst.
In a statement, the Isle of Man Post Office also announced customer counters at Douglas Sorting Office (Braddan) and Northern Delivery Office (Ramsey) closed at 10am and will reopen at 4pm in order for customers to send their mail before the weekend.
The vehicle and drivers trade counter (Braddan) will do the same.
Plus, it anticipates that mail will be able to leave the island tonight, therefore there are currently no suspensions of next day delivery for mail sent today to the UK.
It will keep customers updated via social media regarding the opening hours of individual post offices.
