Organisers of the Southern 100 Road Races have announced a delay to road closures on Wednesday.
The roads around the Colas Billown Circuit in the south were due to shut at around 6.05pm this evening.
However, race planners have revealed there will now be a 25 minute delay to the closures due to weather conditions.
A spokesperson for the Southern 100 Road Races said: ‘Due to the current conditions around the Colas Billown Circuit we have made the decision to delay roads closing until 6.30pm.’
The Southern 100 is a motorcycle road racing event held in the south of the island each year.
Racing takes place on the circuit called the Colas Billown Circuit near Castletown.
