Traffic lights have been put in place in an area of Douglas after a 'gas emergency'.
The two-way traffic lights will be in operation along Summerhill for 24-hours a day.
Further details of the incident have not been released but Isle of Man Energy say the traffic lights are in place until further notice.
A statement posted online by Isle of Man Energy earlier this afternoon said: 'Please be advised there is a gas emergency along Summerhill, Douglas.
'As a result of this we have had to place two-way traffic lights, 24-hours a day until further notice.
'Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.'
