Michael Dunlop claimed his 15th TT victory in dominant fashion in Friday’s blue riband PokerStars Senior Race.
After the original six-lap race had been red-flagged when Ian Hutchinson crashed at the 27th milestone - suffering a broken leg as a result - the race was restarted at 5.15pm over a reduced four laps.
The Ballymoney man was in a ruthless mood as he battled with Peter Hickman in the early throes of the race before gradually pulling away.
The Suzuki rider eventually crossed the line more than 13 seconds ahead of Hickman to claim his second win of the week after his victory in the Supersport Race 1 contest.
Hickman’s second place completed a brilliant week for the Burton upon Trent man who clinched podium places in all five races he competed in.
And it was also a happy day for the Harrison family as Dean Harrison was third in the Senior, hours after his dad Conrad has done likewise in Sure Sidecar Race 2.
