The Met Office has issued another amber weather warning for coastal overtopping today.
It has issued a yellow warning for lying snow and ice.
The forecast:
Cloudy and dull today with patchy rain this morning, this turning heavy during the afternoon, before clearing away around early evening. Windy, with strong to gale force south or southeast winds, these easing during the evening, with temperatures rising to a rather mild 9 or 10 Celsius later. Again, coastal overtopping will occur in places at around the time of high tide (1pm).
Tonight will be dry with clear intervals and a lowest temperature of 7 Celsius. Then tomorrow will see bright intervals and only isolated showers, with fresh southerly winds.
Unsettled through the rest of the week, with rain and strong winds at times.
