The Wurlitzer organ in the Villa Marina Arcade will be helping to spread a little love on Valentine’s Day.
Local organists will be playing from 10am until 12.30 on the morning of February 14, then again in the afternoon from 1.30pm until 4pm.
Peter Jordan from the ’Friends of the Isle of Man Wurlitzer’ group said: ’We were very pleased with how the first of these sessions went in January and we hope to see even more folk this time.
’We hope that lots of people will come and join us.
’This time we’re mounting a small display about theate organs in general, and Wurlitzers in particular and, as part of this, we hope to be able to screen a remarkable old film, made in the 1920s showing organs being built in the Wurlitzer factory in the United States.’
Refreshments will be available and admission is free.
