Ronaldsway Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping this afternoon (Sunday).
It said slight debris is expected around coasts and promenades exposed to the fresh to strong south east wind around the time of high tide - which is 1.30pm.
Areas likely to be affected are the promenades at Douglas, Laxey, Ramsey and Castletown as well as Shore Road, Rushen.
The yellow weather warning will remain in place until 3pm today.
