Every year the members of Douglas Bowling Club and participating bowlers raise funds for a local charity.

In 2023 they raised money at one of their open competitions towards the end of the season.

This time the chosen Charity was A Little Piece of Hope, a charitable foundation dedicated to helping bereaved families and sick children aged 21 or under with hospital travel, funerals and headstones, as well as mental support and any equipment needed.
